How we review
DeepTested means reviewed in depth, so you can understand and compare tools before you pick one. Four rules apply to every page.
1. Official sources
Every price, limit and plan detail comes from the company's own pages: its pricing page, plan comparison and help center. We don't take facts from other review sites or forum posts.
2. Every fact cited
Each fact links to the official page it came from, and each review ends with a list of its sources. For prices, we save the pricing page (text and a screenshot) at each list size we quote.
3. Every check dated
The prices checked date sits at the top of every review, and each source in the list shows the date we read it.
4. Updated when prices change
- We re-check prices and plans, and update the page when a company changes them.
- Each review has a "What changed" section, and every update goes in the public update log.
What every review answers
- Is the free plan enough?
- What does it cost as you grow?
- What are the catches?
- Who should pick it, and who should skip it?
What we don't do
- No vendor pays for a review or a position. Affiliate commissions are explained on our disclosure page.
- We don't guess. If the official pages don't state something, we say it isn't stated.
- We don't repeat marketing claims as findings.
Honest limits
Official pages tell you what a company offers and charges, not how a tool feels day to day or how deliverability holds up at scale. When the official pages don't state something, our review says so instead of guessing.
Who writes, and how we use AI
Reviews are written by the DeepTested review desk. We publish under the brand rather than personal bylines. We don't invent reviewer names or photos.
AI helps us with first drafts and editing. It doesn't produce facts: every price and limit comes from the vendor's official page and is checked by a person before publishing.
